Our Policies

Welcome!

In today’s world of constant connectivity, it can be hard to disconnect and find moments of peace. In order to maintain a positive environment for all members of our community, we have implemented the following policies.

Getting Settled

For everyone’s safety and to preserve the experience of the class, our doors lock when class begins. We offer a 5-minute grace period as a courtesy; however, we kindly ask that all students arrive early enough to be on their mat and settled by the start time.

Checking In for Class

Check in when entering the studio. Upon arrival, please sign in at the front desk. New students are required to complete a waiver. Additionally, inform your instructor of any physical concerns to ensure a safe practice.

Storing Your Items

Store personal items in the provided cubbies, keeping only essential items with you. Rest assured, the studio door locks at class commencement for security. Please ensure cell phones are left outside the practice area.

**No cell phones are allowed during class**

Studio Etiquette

The studio itself is a quiet place for those trying to slow down and let go of their day. Our studio serves as a sanctuary for relaxation and mindfulness. Enter and exit quietly to respect others. Socialize in the lobby, keeping conversations subdued to maintain a tranquil atmosphere.

We ask that conversations be mindful of this and remain low.

What to Wear

Wear comfortable clothing that you can stretch in. Choose attire that is comfortable and allows unrestricted movement. Avoid overly loose clothing that may shift during poses. Arrive clean and refrain from using strong fragrances to ensure a pleasant environment for all.

Mats and Props

We do highly recommend, if you are going to have a regular yoga practice, that you purchase your own mat. For a consistent practice, investing in a personal yoga mat is advisable for comfort and hygiene. However, quality mats and cleaning supplies are available at the studio for your convenience.

For your convenience, high quality mats are available for use at the studio, as well as cleaner and towels to wipe down after use.

Your Practice

Put your full intention into class, but detach yourself from the results. Approach each class with dedication, focusing on your personal journey rather than specific outcomes. Practice self-compassion to prevent injury, embracing your unique expression of each pose regardless of experience level.

Mindful Departures

While we encourage full participation, we understand if you must leave early. Please inform the instructor beforehand and exit quietly before Savasana to minimize disruptions. Positioning your mat near the door can facilitate a discreet departure.
