Nick Heffelfinger is originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania where he first fell in love with Yoga. After being admitted into a performing arts high school, The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Performing Arts, he took regular yoga classes at school and soon found a deep love for not only the physical benefits, but also the mental clarity he couldn't quiet understand. He then started his professional career at age sixteen performing for four years at his local amusement park, Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom. From Pennsylvania, Nick moved to Boston, Massachusetts to attend The Boston Conservatory with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in contemporary dance performance. At school, Nick found a deeper appreciation for yoga while immersing himself in intense yoga classes as well as a weekly restorative practice to combat the physical strain from performing regularly.
Since graduation in May of 2017, Mr. Heffelfinger quickly moved to Dallas, TX to perform with Dark Circles Contemporary Dance as well as joining the new Netflix reality series Dancing Queen, featuring famous drag queen Alyssa Edwards. He decided to take a leap of faith and further his yogic studies by joining Namah Sivaya's teacher training program. He received his Yoga Alliance Certificate in January of 2018 and immediately decided to deepen his practice by joining the 500-hour teacher training program (anticipated March 2019). Nick's practice challenges the physical in a body positive manor. He is interested in the connection between the body and mind and how a yoga practice can influence daily life.

Yin is a focused flexibility class, designed to gently work into the fascia at a deeper level. This gentle class is perfect for beginners and advanced students, as it helps create balance in the body.
This is a passive practice using bolsters, blocks and blankets to support the body. Restorative poses help relieve chronic stress, stimulate the organs and reduce blood pressure.
If you have never taken a yoga class or simply prefer to move at your own pace and enjoy the gentle variations of all the postures, then this class is for you.
This class is moderately active with the intention to challenge you a bit more than the gentle class, but still provide enough opportunity for modifications and variations so any practitioner can attend and benefit.
