This workshop will begin some easy breathwork followed by 45 minutes of sound meditation where you will be lying down in a comfortable position bathed by the healing sounds of the instruments. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring anything with you to create a comfortable meditation nest – yoga mats, knee bolsters & blankets provided.
As a Certified Sound Practitioner, Denae has been studying & practicing sound meditation for many years. Sound has been a part of her life since early childhood, playing the piano, singing in the choir, playing saxophone in high school & college. After experiencing gongs and singing bowls for the first time, she was immediately drawn to sound in a way she had never before experienced. She continues to explore different ways in which sound & frequency has an innate connection with healing the body on many levels: emotional, spiritual & physical. In August 2017, Denae became a graduate with honors from The Globe Sound Healing Institute.
